“Lingua Franca Local” // Summit 1.2, Letters

Misty Sanico did a Q+A with with the one and only Lee Tonouchi (“Da Pidgin Guerrilla”), a local writer who uses Pidgin in his work as a celebration of local culture. I drove out to Pearl City to meet Lee outside a public library and take a few photos for the piece. Turns out he’s a super nice guy, and not shy in front of the camera.
