“Wear it’s Made” // Summit 1.2, Fashion

I guess I did a good enough job with the Nakeʻu Awai fashion shoot in Pālama, because I ended up doing the photography for our Roberta Oaks fashion shoot in the next issue, 1.2. This shoot actually had stylists, a location, wardrobe changes and—because of Oaks’ style and because the setting was La Mariana Sailing Club—cocktails inspired by tiki bar culture (good for props and for getting loose).

Both issue 1.1 and 1.2 included full fashion spreads with much more upscale brands and elaborate settings entrusted to photographers that live and breath fashion. But I still had a lot of fun doing the more casual, street fashion pieces.

Photographed: September, 2015

Location: La Mariana Sailing Club, Sand Island, Oʻahu
